TRENDY TAG BOUTIQUE and THE BEAUTY SHOW

Trendy TAG Boutique has exciting news about a new reality Makeover series called The Beauty Show. The Beauty Show’s makeover series consists of an inner and outer transformation during a four month period; focusing on health, beauty and well being. This transformation includes two teams of Top Professionals donating $100,000.00 worth of professional procedures in cosmetic surgery, dental surgery/repair, a nutrition and exercise program, anti-aging, permanent make-up, cosmetology and fabulous fashion advice from Trendy Tag Boutique’s Owner Angela and Manager Sumer.

During the 2008 calendar year, The Beauty Show advertised and held open auditions in the Scottsdale/Phoenix area, and over 200 candidates audition for the reality makeover series. Ultimately, two women were chosen (Barbara and Lisa) and the Professionals were divided into two teams; one team of Professionals for Barbara and one team of Professionals for Lisa.

In December 2008, production began at Trendy TAG Boutique, and Angela and Sumer met with contestant, Barbara Hoffman, and discussed her transformation process, as well as consulted with her about various styles, fit and fashion. Barbara started the reality makeover series a size 14, and she powered through the transformation process a healthier, happier woman ….not to mention wearing a size 8! Trendy TAG Boutique and the fashion portion of The Beauty Show airs near the end of the series, and just prior to the Reveal Party where family, friends, the Professional Teams and all of the viewers will finally get to see both Barbara and Lisa for the first time! The transformation these two women went through is astonishing!

AIRING OF SEASON ONE
The first series of The Beauty Show is tentatively scheduled to air nationally on the ION Channel, which is channel 17 with Cox Cable, at the end of May 2009. The series runs for 13 episodes walking viewers through every portion of the inner and outer transformation.

PRODUCTION OF SEASON TWO
In March 2009, The Beauty Show began production of the second season of the reality makeover series, and this season the team of Professionals changed slightly and a Psychologist was added to assist the contestants through the transformation process. Two women were selected (Glynis and Casey) and a third woman was selected as the runner up. During Season Two of The Beauty Show, Angela was on the panel of judges and involved in the selection process. She found the experience to be invigorating and heartwarming for all of the strong women that participated.

TELEVISION AIR TIMES
The Beauty Show's Makeover Series will begin on May 26th at 10:30 in the morning. Season 1 will air every Tuesday for 6 weeks on Cable Channel 17 and Over-the-air on 51.
